Reviews and Ratings
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were cozy and had a nice view of the river, and I even found an open bottle of water left for me on the counter. The service was excellent, they were very attentive and even removed parking charges for me. The location was perfect, on the edge of downtown Saint Paul with plenty of parking and close to nearby restaurants. The dining experience was fantastic, especially the cured meats. Overall, a great value for money with some minor room for improvement in service.
Upon arrival, I struggled a bit with the snow-covered entrance and parking area due to a snowstorm, but once inside, my room on the 6th floor offered a view of a parking garage and old buildings. The hotel room had 2 double beds, though not the most scenic view.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were really nice, especially on the 20th floor with great views, but mine was a bit noisy being close to the exit to the parking area. It took three days before the room was vacuumed, only after I requested it. The service was a bit of a rollercoaster - some staff members were fantastic, efficient, and on top of everything, while others were rude and unhelpful. The location was convenient for my plans, great for attending the event I was there for, but the area mostly shut down at night, limiting options. The dining options were a bit overpriced, and the selection was simple and not worth the cost. Overall, it was an okay stay with ups and downs.
